Attack. Sending waves.
Friday, December 25, 2009
The waves are a number of attacks in a short period of time. Waves - is a critical component of success in Travian.
And why we need a wave? Why not send all the troops immediately?
Suppose you want to destroy the village of your worst enemy. Do you have 5000 attack units and 500 catapults. If you send your entire army at once, your katy destroy only two buildings, because you can not specify more goals. If you send 5 wave (of attacks), you can bulldoze 10 buildings. Several successful operations and treacherous enemy of the city lie in ruins.
The first wave should go strike force, the vanguard - 4800 attacking soldiers and 60 cat. The first wave should def destroy the possibility of the enemy. The so-called stripping. Next come the four waves of 60 cat + 50 units accompaniment, which destroy the enemy village.
Why do waves have to be laid in one second, and not just send each other?
Now imagine that the perfidious neighbor, decided to destroy your capital, the building where you have spent a few months. We see that the waves are at intervals of 1-2 seconds. But the knowledge - the main weapon in the game, and we have no doubt that the army is the first shock wave, and the rest - defenseless katy with minimal support. At the time of arrival of the first wave we ascribe to their defensive forces from the country (eg attack the nearby oasis), and after that once we click "cancel the attack."
The result is: the attacker struck a fist on an empty village, and returned home with nothing, and katy killed one wave after another of our valiant def. You loss is minimal, and the neighbor-villain lost his expensive catapults. He does not recover soon, you can sleep peacefully.
But if the enemy waves missed a second, you have time to put its def between attacks? Probably not.
How to send a few waves in one second?
It is not as difficult as it seems. I describe how to do it, but so lazy that he had found a good video on Yutube. Here everything is clear.
